Great Fosters Wedding Photography
Joella and Ross’s Great Fosters winter wedding was joyful and fun, from early morning through to the big knees up on the dance floor.
When I arrived at Joella’s in the morning there was this excited buzz that you only get when a group of really good mates are with each other getting ready for a best friend’s wedding, drinking champagne and having a good old giggle. Even Percy, their much beloved cat got in on the action. He had his own mini photo shoot with Joella – claws firmly pointed in the opposite direction from the dress!
If you’re thinking of having a winter wedding then you are going to love Joella’s idea of having feather shrugs for herself and in matching duck-egg blue for the bridesmaids. They looked stunning and kept the chill out for most of the day. I can’t vouch for Ross though as he was wearing a kilt…. brave man!
The speeches were a hoot and as sometimes happens, there was a sweepstake as to how long they would last. (I just wanted to say how thoughtful it was that everyone’s generous donations went towards the poppy appeal. Kudos.) You may notice a few shenanigans during the speeches, this has something to do with Ross’s pre-Joella fashion sense. I have a bit of a giggle when the best man’s speech highlights the groom’s dubious fashion choices 🙂
Enjoy having a look through. If you are getting married at Great Fosters any time of year, please do get in touch. I have photographed weddings at Great Fosters all year round.
