Way back in the spring Claire, Jo and I met at a pub in Clapham to talk about what they had planned for their wedding at the Sunbeam Studios near London’s Portobello Road. It sounded like it was going to be a rather special day with a mix of their English and French backgrounds featuring in all parts of their wedding.
Also, when you marry a french woman it seems inevitable that unlimited amounts of champagne and spectacular cheeses are featured đŸ™‚
It had all the best ingredients for a wedding …  tears and joy, beautiful singing from Jo’s choir, funny and touching speeches, a first dance to Ella Fitzgerald sung by your close friend and a whole heap of guests that know how to Jive.
