There’s a sweet vintage tea house in Reigate where I met Anna and Tom to chat about their plans for their autumn wedding at The Old Green Barn, Newdigate. It sounded like the perfect laid back wedding, being a celebration with their closest family and friends and lots of rustic autumnal details that fitted in perfectly with the rural setting of the farm.
On the wedding day Tom arrived at the church looking relaxed and very elegant in his bespoke suit and I love the images of him laughing and joking with his best men before Anna arrived. The rain showers held off long enough for Anna’s entrance into church; she looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero lace dress with wild flowers and berries in her hair.
The barn at Green farm was warm and welcoming and the guests were able to appreciate the gorgeous countryside setting when the sun came out between showers….we even had a rainbow! After the speeches we made the most of some pretty mazing evening light for those gorgeous couples shots as the mist was beginning to settle. My couples know how happy being able to shoot in the light of ‘magic hour’ makes me and Anna and Tom loved these photos.
A massive thank you to you, Anna and Tom, for welcoming me into your wedding and I wish you a wonderful happy life together. xxx
Many thanks to my lovely friend Sally Beard for being second photographer.
